Bob and his wife Debbie moved to the River Road area in 1981. They have two sons who graduated from local high schools. Bob did technical support for the City of Eugene Public Works Department, Parks and Open Space Division for 26 years, retiring in 2017.
In 2016, Bob and Debbie bought a house on Audel Avenue, just around the corner from the park. Bob has enjoyed working out at the park a couple times a week since they moved here.
His interests include bird watching, woodworking, and mushrooming.
He is on the board of Cascade Mycological Society, and has participated in the Mt. Pisgah Mushroom Festival for many years. Bob is an enthusiastic supporter of parks and all they provide for our citizens. He looks forward to being part of the guiding force behind maintaining and improving our local park.
