Application & Award Process

Scholarships are awarded while funds remain. Once funds are fully awarded, applications may continue to be accepted and kept on file for the remainder of the summer camp season (ending August 28, 2026) should additional funding arise.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Applicants will be contacted regarding their application status within one week of submission.

Scholarship assistance may be requested before or after camp registration. Campers must be registered for summer camp in order for a scholarship to be applied. If approved, the scholarship discount will be applied to the remaining camp balance after registration.

If camp tuition has already been paid in full online, the approved scholarship amount will be refunded to the original method of payment.

Scholarship discounts will be applied to eligible camp weeks (up to three weeks per child) until available scholarship funds are fully used. Discounts are calculated based on the balance remaining after the $40 deposit is paid.

Am I in District?

District residents, who support our services through property taxes will see taxes paid to River Road Park District on their annual Lane County property tax statement. Proof of residency is required. If you are unsure, our staff will confirm your status based off your proof of residency.
