Title: Spin Cycle Instructor

Reports to: Adult Recreation Supervisor - Brian Breedlove

Expected hours: 1 per week

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness and wellness, with the ability to lead engaging classes that inspire participants to achieve their health and fitness goals. This role requires a commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all members, ensuring they receive the highest quality instruction and support.

Duties

• Deliver high-energy classes.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of participants at different skill levels.
• Provide personalized feedback and modifications to ensure safety and effectiveness for all class attendees.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of body mechanics and physiology to enhance instructional quality.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation and community building among members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fitness instruction through continuous education.

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching group Spin Cycling in a gym or health club setting.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and exercise techniques related to Spin Cycling.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants effectively.
• Certification in group fitness instruction or related field is preferred.
• A passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals is essential.
