Michael Lambros
Michael has been a resident of the River Road neighborhood for sixteen years after moving to Oregon from Hawaii to help his family. After purchasing his home in the neighborhood, Michael became involved with the River Road Community Organization and served on the board for several years. While working as a chef in town, Michael bought the drive through coffee kiosk Global Delights at the corner of Hillard and River Road and over the years has grown it into a commercial organic coffee roasting company. Michael and his team have raised over $40,000 for the River Road neighborhood through the sales of their coffee beans at the kiosk which has funded multiple programs for the neighborhood schools and the Global Delights Scholarship Fund at the River Road Park & Recreation District. Michael has also served on the River Road Park District Budget Committee for several years before joining the Board of Directors. Michael has a deep passion to help his community and to enhance the livability of the neighborhood through vision, problem solving, collaboration and old fashion work projects. "I am humbled and appreciative to have been asked to join the Board of Directors of such a well managed and important asset to our neighborhood. I look forward to being helpful in any way I can to the Park District and our community at large."
