​Summer Daze Camps

Ages 5 (no age exceptions).

Your little ones will have fun in a safe and nurturing environment at River Road Park. We will play games, make crafts, sing songs and make friends all summer long. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather and bring a sack lunch, drink, swimsuit and towel every day. Fill out a permission slip at time of registration. Instructors: Sally Pravel / Roxanne Laisure / Ceci Chappell. Full week only, no daily fee offered.

Week 1    6/22-6/26 | Once upon a time
Explore your imagination through dramatic play, stories and mystical castles. We will learn about dinosaurs, outer space and more. 

Week 2    6/29-7/3 | Mythical Animals 
Learn about unicorns, big foot, the Loch Ness monster and more, through crafts and stories.

Week 3    7/6-7/10 | Around the world in 5 days
Visit five countries through the mediums of projects, stories, music, food and customs. 

Week 4    7/13-7/17 | Mindful Kids
Mindfulness, kindness, focus and calm. Working on managing everyday emotions, using mindful activities such as yoga, meditation, movement, stories, games and even some cloud watching.

Week 5     7/20-7/24 | Construction Chaos 
Calling all engineers and building fanatics!! We will be building all sorts of things out of blocks, wood, Legos and recycled products. Use your imagination and see what you can come up with!

Week 6     7/27-7/31 | Mad Scientists 
We will do fun, kid friendly science experiments each day. During the week, we will explore some natural science specimens, take a scavenger hunt and immerse ourselves in the wonders of the world. 

Week 7    8/3-8/7 | On the Move 
We will keep on the move with dance, yoga, running, outdoor games and swimming, with an emphasis on movement, healthy bodies and fun!

Week 8     8/10-8/14 | All about Art
Express yourself by using different mediums of art and learn different techniques. We will paint, sculpt and make a collage. This week is full of creative opportunities!

Week 9     8/17-8/21 | Pirates & Princesses 
You can be a pirate, a mermaid, or a sea captain as we travel the seven seas of imagination. We’ll experience ocean adventures, and explore the life and treasures found beneath the sea. We’ll be doing a lot of water play and “wet” hands on activities. 


Summer Adventure Camps

Entering grades 1-5 (Fall 2019).

Adventure camps promise you a summer of fun to remember. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt during their first session of summer. All camps are held at River Road Park. Permission slip and medical release are required at time of registration. Bring a swimsuit and towel each day. Dress appropriately for the weather and activities. Camp groups will be formed by grade levels. Full week only, no daily fee off ered. M-F 9a-4p Weekly: $120 ID $130 OD


Week 1     6/22-6/26 | Fun in the Sun

Let’s start the summer off right! We will be playing outside in the sun, creating fun art projects, and kicking off summer camp with a bang!


Week 2      6/29-7/3 | Holiday Hubabaloo

Come and join us at camp this week while we celebrate different holidays all leading up to the 4th of July.


Week 3      7/6-7/10 | It’s a Zoo

What can you see at the zoo? We will be having fun creating animal craft s and playing animal games.


Week 4      7/13-7/17 | Master Chef

How do your skills measure up in the kitchen? Th is week campers will be learning how to make five main dishes and five side dishes. At the end of the week each camper will take home a recipe book.


Week 5      7/20-7/24 | X-Marks the Spot Arrgg Matey!

We will be finding our inner pirate, exploring the park and searching for treasure. Come sail the seven seas with us at camp this week.


Week 6      7/27-7/31 | Sports of all Sorts Soccer, basketball, Track Oh My! Campers will be introduced to various sport activities throughout the week leading up to a sportstacular Friday.


Week 7      8/3-8/7 | Mad Scientist

What happens when you mix baking soda and vinegar or glue and borax? Campers will be having fun with science this week.


Week 8      8/10-8/14 | Twist & Shout

Campers will be making music and dancing the week away. Friday afternoon each group will be performing a dance routine they learned throughout the week.


Week 9       8/17-8/21| Lollipops & Gumdrops

Come to camp this week and learn what fun and yummy treats you can make in the kitchen. This week will involve sugar!


Week 10      8/24-8/28 | Final Count Down

5. Game day. 4. Taco Tuesday. 3. Water World! 2. PJ Day. 1. Party!

Jazzed Up Junior High Camp



Group size limited to 10. Drop off for camp is 9:00a. Camp ends at 4:00p.

Week 1                  8/3-6         ART, ART, ART      M-Th

This week we will tour the street murals in Eugene, make art, and look for art out on our hikes. We will make an art journal with things we can find at home. Please pack a lunch, bring a water bottle, good walking shoes, towel, in case we get wet with sprinklers.


Week 2                  8/10-13      Nature Galore       M-Th

This week we will work with the outdoors a lot. Go on hikes, visit different parks in the area. Create art using nature around us.


Week 3                 8/17-20      Reduce, reuse, recycle   M-Th

This week we will learn about the environment and ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
