Activities include arts, crafts, songs, stories, dramatic play, large muscle play and more. Our program also helps children who will be away from parents for their first time. Please dress your child in play clothes. A discount is available for early payment of more than one month at a time or additional family members. Must be age 2 as of September 1. Making friends, learning to take turns, listening and expressing feelings in acceptable ways, will make them feel good about themselves while in "school." Our activities include songs, games, arts and crafts, cooking, musical instruments and dramatic play along with active and quiet times. A discount is available for early payment of more than one month at a time or additional family members. Must be age 3 as of September 1 and fully potty trained (no pull-ups, please). Ages 4 & 5. Children will prepare for kindergarten by focusing on learning colors, shapes, the alphabet and numbers (counting, forms, comparisons, sets). Games, music, crafts, arts and crafts, and cooking activities encourage large and small motor control development and provide an opportunity to improve social skills and develop a positive self image. F.A.S.T. (Fun After School Time)

For Middle schoolers at Kelly/Davinci. This after school enrichment program is a new partnership between River Road Park and the 4J school district, providing wholesome activities, snacks and homework club 4 days a week throughout the school year. After-School Adventure Program


Grades K-5.
A.S.A.P. is River Road Park's extended-care service for children with working parents. Certified drivers safely transport children in park district vans from their school to Emerald Park, where they will participate in a variety of recreational activities promoting self-esteem, social skills and the value of using leisure time wisely. We are certified with the Oregon Registry and the USDA snack program. The program operates after school, on all scheduled no-school days and some holidays. Open to full-time participants only. We are currently serving Awbrey Park, Howard, Corridor, River Road, Spring Creek and Yujin Gakuen elementary schools. For information call the park office at 541-688-4052 or your school's office.
