COMBO-AEROBICS (10 WEEKS)
Burn that fat! Aerobic exercise is the answer; it is the only way to burn fat-so why not make it fun and challenging! Dance to a variety of music, increase the endurance of your heart and lungs, increase your energy level, and feel better about yourself while slimming down. Low-high impact and step aerobics are incorporated with traditional aerobics to give a full well-rounded workout. Please wear shoes that give good ankle support. Morning classes have child care provided; you may take advantage of this or make other arrangements. Children are not allowed in class.

SLIMNASTICS (10 wks)
It's time to get into shape! Exercises to tone, strengthen, and shape will be conducted to a variety of music. Slow down the aging process and reduce tension by using muscles and making them long and slender. Please wear shoes that give good ankle support. Morning classes have child care provided. Children are not allowed in class.

Step’n Out With Kathy
Get to know members of the River Road Park Community by “Steppin’ Out with Kathy.” The group meets twice a week and is designed to promote the benefits of walking and a healthy lifestyle. Walks will last about an hour and will begin and end at the River Road Park Annex. Make sure you wear sturdy, comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers for variable weather. For a more strenuous work out, see “Steppin’ Up with Kathy.” Walks take place rain or shine and with or without Kathy.

Step’n Up With Kathy
Feel like steppin' it up? This hike is for those of you who want to push it a bit and walk away feeling like you've done your work out for the day. Over the next 3 months we'll do 3 local hikes which translates to low travel time (always a bonus) - Mt Pisguah - front, back and Spencer's Butte. Bring water, a snack if you need one and be sure to wear appropriate hiking gear. This will be 1.5 hours approx. of continuous walking. High energy. This is a work out - not a stroll. Participants should be comfortable walking uphill. Get ready to step it up!

EXERSTART
WITH CINDY ABEE (6 WEEKS)
Here’s a great way to start an exercise program for first timers as well as those who have taken fitness classes before. Grab a friend and come join us for an enjoyable and functional fitness program developed and field tested by the OASIS Institute as part of HealthStages. ExerStart not only offers this “pre-test”, but an individualized exercise program and provides activities, seated as well as standing. We’ll have fun listening to all the favorite tunes while improving balance, flexibility and muscle strength.
Please wear comfortable clothes and good supportive shoes. Don’t forget your water bottle and writing materials. Held at Emerald Park Community Center located at 1400 Lake Drive. Following class enjoy full use of the community center pool, locker rooms and fitness center. Co-sponsored by River Road Park District and OASIS. Instructor: Cindy Abee
