SKILLS DESCRIPTIONS RECENTLY REVISED

The Learn-to-Swim Program parallels the American Red Cross Water Safety Program.  Recently, the American Red Cross altered its program.  As a result, minor modifications are being incorporated into all our course levels.  These modifications have affected the minimum standards for completion in some of our levels.  For example, a child that may have previously “passed” Catfish based on the old minimum standards, would not meet the revised minimum standards.  We apologize for any confusion these changes/modifications may have caused.  If you have any questions regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to speak with the Aquatic Director or Aquatic Supervisor.
