Want to play hooky from spring chores? We can help! Pack a lunch, water, rain jacket for variable weather, wear sturdy shoes or boots for possible wet/muddy conditions and bring money for an after-hike treat stop. A walking stick is helpful. Participants should be in good condition and have good balance.

Silver Falls State Park
Few sights in Oregon are as awesome as rounding a bend in the trail to face a roaring waterfall. The North Falls loop at this popular park near Salem passes four waterfalls in 3.8 miles in a beautiful forested canyon. We’ll also visit the historic lodge, built in 1940. Mostly gentle terrain with some stair climbing.
